In other words, coffee date! : ) In this phase, we meet virtually for the first time. I want to hear all about your love, wedding ideas, and your expectations of my services. I will also use this time to voice how best I can meet your expectations while also offering professional advice where needed.

The fun starts to kick in! There’s nothing more I love than capturing the love of two people. I’ll help you plan your engagement session detail by detail . I just ask that you bring your love when you arrive on set 🙂 .

Because things can change right? About a week or two before the wedding date, we will hop on another call to go over your wedding details. This is to ensure that we’ll be one accord with regards to the timeline and events of the wedding day.

…and SHOWTIME! The big day is here! I will work in accordance to the wedding timeline and put my best foot forward in effort to capture beautiful images of your wedding day.

Guess who’s got mail? YOU! Within 6 – 8 weeks after your wedding day, you can expect a gallery of beautifully curated images from your wedding. Depending your wedding package, prints and/or wedding albums would also be processed during this time.

Associate Photographer
What is An Associate Photographer?
An associate photographer is someone that provides photography services on behalf of a company. As the owner and operator of PD Photography, I do not take lightly the trust that my couples have in me. This is why I ensure that all of my associates are experienced professionals who’s approach to photographing weddings is synonymous to mine.
Why book an Associate Photographer?
While every couple wants a skilled photographer, the reality is that many couples have a photography budget that they have to adhere to. Often times, that budget determines the level of photographer they’re able to hire. The downside to this is that, in the wedding industry, having a lower budget typically equals having less experienced vendors. This is not the case with our associate photographers.
A key benefit to our associate package is that they are priced at a lower cost than if you were to hire me, Phylicia, to photograph your wedding day. However, this isn’t because they aren’t qualified. It’s mainly due to the fact that they don’t have to bare the cost of running the business operations themselves. In other words, while my associate will be your wedding photographer, all wedding consultations, image editing and product delivery will be fully handled by my company. This way, you’re still able to have the PD Photography experience from start to finish.

Travel & Destination Weddings
For all national weddings, An extra day is booked for you at no additional cost. I always fly in a day early to ensure that I’m present and on time. For all International weddings, up to two extra days are booked for you at no additional cost. I always fly in one to two days early to ensure that I’m present and on time.
This extra day includes the opportunity to photograph any kind of rehearsal, dinner, or additional portraits the night before your wedding.

How is the Payment Process?
To reserve your wedding day, a 30% deposit is required at least two – four months prior to your wedding date.

If I cancel my wedding, is the deposit refundable?
The deposit is non-refundable. This is because once I receive the deposit, I will turn down all other commissions for that day. Therefore, I will use the deposit to leverage the damages or loss of business caused by the cancellation.

How long is the turnover time?
Approximately 6-8 weeks. Wedding editing is a very detailed process and I take pride in assuring that my work is satisfactory to both my clients and my brand. Note: It is possible for the time frame to alter due to circumstances beyond my control. I will notify my clients immediately if this very rare occasion occurs.

Will I get to see my images before you print and distribute them?
Yes, you certainly will! After the editing period is over, the images will be sent to you in an online gallery. At this time, clients can express their views on the photos before the printing and distribution process begins

Will you be the only photographer?
Unless your package includes a second photographer, yes I will be. I highly recommend that every wedding, whether big or small, is covered by at least two photographers. My reason for this is simple, one person cannot be at two places at the same time. So to maximize the value on your photography coverage, it would be best to have two photographers capturing different moments simultaneously.

Is it possible to upgrade my collection after booking my wedding?
Of course! Clients are able to upgrade their wedding package at anytime.
